Carl T. Dodd

Carl Dodd is the President of People Velocity LLC, helping organizations save time and money by developing their people and improving their systems. He brings to the position a wealth of experience in the public and private sectors. He served a national professional association as Director, Education and Certification. As a member of a consulting agency, he was a trainer and coach for a regional retail company. He has also served as an operations manager and human resources manager in for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Carl is an Adjunct Faculty member with DeVry University Austin, currently teaching Critical Thinking and Problem Solving in the Accelerated Degree Program. Carl is a past president of the Williamson County HRM Association and was a board member of the Austin HRM Association.

Carl holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Pepperdine University. He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources. 
Carl was a pilot in the Navy for 24 years. He served in various leadership roles, including instructor pilot. His last three assignments included Commanding Officer of an aviation squadron, Air Department Officer (Air Boss) of a nuclear-power aircraft carrier, and Executive Officer of one of the U.S. Navy’s master jet bases.

Carl and his wife, Jan, live in Austin. Their daughter Heather is married with two children and lives in Austin.
